Maybe you still haven’t taken down your Christmas decorations or perhaps the last drop of champagne at New Year’s has not been consumed. The holidays are hectic in your world, taking up all your energy, time, and interest in adding yet another item to the rapidly growing to do list, but after Santa flies off and the countdown to 2022 has ended, for a few brief days your time is your own again. No obligations, no need to head out that door, and no way you are going to do anything that involves getting out of your pajamas! This time, as the snow falls steadily and your windows are covered in a slick ice, is the perfect time to start planning your 2022 summer getaway in Orlando. Dreams of long Florida days spent warming your permafrozen body under the sun fill your mind, and as you scroll through all our Magnolia Villas seasonal sanctuaries, you can imagine exactly what it will feel like to nap on that couch or sleep in those beds. If these aren’t reasons enough to start filling in your information on the Book Now card located to the right of the page, we think the reasons listed below will seal the deal!

How Does Getting More for Less Sound?

Although you will receive exactly what you dreamed of no matter when you book, securing your fabulous Magnolia Villas escape today will save you money! We may not charge more for booking closer to your expected date of arrival, but we do offer a friendly discount for sneaking in and scoring the home of your dreams earlier! All the luxuries, all the comfort, and all the style that made you fall in love with the vacation rental you simply cannot stop staring at will be yours with a smaller hit on your vacation budget. Saving money is always a good thing, and you can choose to do so much with the dollars saved, such as buy more souvenirs, spend an extra day at the theme park of your choice, and order the surf and turf AND dessert after! You can also simply put it away and start saving for the next vacation you take—return trip, anyone?

The Vacation Home of Your Dreams

We love our homes, but let’s face it: There is always something that comes up lacking as you fight for room in the kitchen, stand outside with the hose in hand watering the grass until you can afford a sprinkler system, or even turn an extra bedroom into a closet, limiting the guests who can visit, simply so you have enough room for your clothes! In any case, the vacation home of your dreams has no negatives and will fit you, your family, and your friend like a glove as you frolic in the private pool, watch movies on the big screen, and sleep like a baby every night of your stay! But wait. What if you wait too long to book and someone else creeps in and steals the home that should rightfully be yours? That could be considered the biggest negative of them all and although we are sure that you will still manage to find a property that coddles and spoils, don’t you deserve to have the one that made your heart beat faster at first glimpse? Booking now will ensure that in just a few short months you will be strutting up to the front door of the vacation home of your dreams, inputting the key code, and taking over the premises with a smile that stays plastered to your face the duration of your vacation in paradise!

Lose Yourself in Your Dreams

Your daily life is hectic, and for five days of every week you wake up early and drag yourself into work to face angry clients, bosses, and coworkers. You fight the traffic on the roads, driving with white knuckles under gray skies and in subzero temperatures, but for the few minutes you spend scrolling through the pictures on the Magnolia Villas website, you find peace. You can actually feel the sun beating down on your shoulders as you sip mojitos while floating on the giant pink flamingo in the pool. You can picture yourself lifting your head to look up at the clock, checking out the numbers shining in the early morning light, and rolling back over to sleep for as long as you want. These moments of peace and relaxation will give you the opportunity to forget about responsibilities and lose yourself in the dreams of the perfect vacation brought to you by Magnolia Villas. Give yourself the happy ending you deserve by booking your summer getaway today!

By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, most of the nation has already begun to dip its toes into the winter season, even if the official start is still more than a month away. The leaves have all fallen from the trees, the skies stay gray and gloomy, and in colder states (or those with higher altitudes) the snow has already fallen more than once, making driving a nightmare! Here in Orlando, however, the humidity is beginning to dry up a bit, the sun is going to be shining, and eternal summer continues, making our Florida city one that offers a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Just imagine not having to clean your house from top to bottom, (our cleaners not just clean, they sanitize and disinfect) not having to listen to cranky relatives complain that the turkey is too dry, and not having to cook the meal yourself! Many local restaurants are open and happy to prep, serve, and clear, so your Thanksgiving getaway to Orlando and your stay in one of our Magnolia Villas holiday hideaways is guaranteed to give you more things to be thankful about!

2021 Turkey Trot, November 25th, 8 AM, Avalon Town Park in Orlando

You have all this extra time of your hands and you are still going to be eating a week’s worth of calories later in the day, so why not be pre-emptive and get your exercise out of the way? The 2021 Turkey Trot, sponsored by the Avalon Park Foundation, allows you to eat more later and do a good deed at the same time; this non-profit organization funnels the moneys it receives from the Turkey Trot admission fees into the neighborhoods and communities of Orlando! Prices start at $20 for adults and $10 for kids if you register online before November 5, but they will go up in $5 increments the closer you get to race day, so don’t delay, sign up now!

Time to Eat

At last! After years of working your fingers to the bone, trying to ensure that all 17 dishes are ready to be consumed at the same time and being so tired and edgy you really don’t enjoy your hard work, it is time to let someone else take over the cooking. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal expertly prepared by someone else and walk away refreshed, relaxed, and full at meal’s end! As you might expect, there are more than a few restaurants that will be open and serving a wonderful Thanksgiving meal, but the Capital Grille, located at 9101 International Drive, is definitely a local favorite! Offering a traditional Thanksgiving menu, as well as the thick and juicy steaks that make a night out on the town so much more special, the Capital Grille will put the thanks back into your Thanksgiving celebration.

Night of a Million Lights, November 25, 5PM-10PM, Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee

After the last bite of turkey has been eaten and the sun has set on another Thanksgiving Day, the lights turn up in nearby Kissimmee! The Night of a Million Lights in Give Kids the World Village offers a festive beginning to the next holiday season, and if you miss out, you will never be able to forgive yourself. Running for 52 nights and featuring millions of lights that dance, twinkle, and shine, ticket prices go towards giving critically ill children (and their families too, of course!) vacations that will not cost them anything! Meaning that as you walk through the village, enjoying sweet treats, holiday music, and even a trail of sparkling trees, your holiday spirit will receive a much needed bump AND you will be doing something good for those who aren’t as fortunate as you are!

Stay Home and Play

Not all Thanksgiving fun has to take part outside the boundaries of your Magnolia Villas vacation escape. Start the day watching the Thanksgiving Day parade on state of the art televisions that are large enough to make you feel as if you are part of the fun, except you won’t be subjected to the cold and weather that people in New York are having to live through! Choose to make your own Thanksgiving feast in our fully equipped kitchens where updated appliances, high-end cabinets and countertops, and cheery ambiances help bring back the joy in your cooking experiences. Add a happy twist to your familiar traditions by dining at patio tables out by the pool and when the meal is complete, you can practice your cannonballs while the KIDS clear the table! However you choose to spend our second favorite holiday, spending it in the comforts of our Magnolia Villas holiday hideaways promises to make this Thanksgiving one you will never forget! Reserve your favorite home away from home today!

A visit to Orlando is always guaranteed to be a great time, but there is something magical about a visit to Orlando during the holidays. The buzz in the air is amped up as stores, parks, and ordinary people decorate with style, and as you relax in comfort in your Magnolia Villas seasonal sanctuaries, you know that within minutes you will be out there, participating in all the fun! The holiday season is just about on us, and as we look towards the future and your Halloween escape to Orlando, you know you will be comfortable and spoiled in your vacation home away from home, but now you are beginning to wonder what kind of Halloween shenanigans you can get into during your time in the “City Beautiful” and so we have created a guide to the events, activities, and shenanigans that make this time of year one of our favorites!

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, September 3-October 31

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal has been a tradition in Orlando for a VERY long time and as they celebrate their 30th anniversary this year, you have to expect that a spooktacular time will be had by all who partake in excitement! Offering a variety of haunted houses with easily recognizable themes (Beetlejuice, The Exorcist, and The House on Haunting Hill, to name just a few) nearly every weekend there will be something new to be scared about! This year’s theme, “Never Go Alone” is probably some good advice to follow, but we would recommend skipping the frights if you are traveling with young children!

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular 2021, September 18-October 31

It should be of no surprise that the most fun you can have over the Halloween holiday will take place at the major theme parks that make Orlando one of the most exciting vacation destinations in Florida, and SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is the perfect example! Taking place on the weekends and offering trick or treat stations, (wear your costumes for your day at the park) a pumpkin garden, the chance to meet a mermaid, and a DJ hosted Dance Party, children of ALL ages will fall in love with All Hallows Eve when they spend it at SeaWorld! Your littles will be thrilled to share breakfast with all their Sesame Street favorites at Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast, but if you are traveling with an older bunch, you might want to consider taking part in SeaWorld’s Howl-o-Scream! Ticketed separately, this ghoulish haunted house/coaster/spinetingling show promises offers blood-curdling frights and moments of pure terror, bringing back the thrill of Halloween to the grown-ups and teens in your traveling party!

Trick or Treat, October 6- October 27, Museum of Illusion Orlando

Don’t look at this fun event as being too early to celebrate the holiday proper, look at it as an opportunity for more candy! Wednesday nights from 5-8 The Museum of Illusion adds a sweet treat to its exhibits and as your children learn about perspective and illusion in their favorite costumes, they can beg for treats as well! Many of their standard exhibits are revamped for the hair-raising Halloween holiday and all promise to offer just the right amount of fear; not so much as to cause nightmares, but not so little as to bring about yawns of boredom!

Boo Bash, October 17, at Walt Disney World

This most popular event has almost completely sold out, but October 17 is still open so we suggest you buy your tickets now! Offering seasonal decorations, character visits (dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes) and a variety of special events that are guaranteed to make this Halloween your favorite, Boo Bash will change you the way you look at the holiday forevermore!

Spooky Empire, October 22-October 24, at the Hyatt Regency, 9800 International Drive

When you live to be scared over Halloween, Spooky Empire offers exactly what you need! Offering a tattoo and film festival filled with frightening movies and colorful tattoos, vendors selling everything Halloween, and a variety of holiday activities, this unique event is much loved in the Orlando area! Taking place over three days the week before Halloween with tickets (on sale now) ranging from $40 to $250, your Halloween adventures would be incomplete if you were in town and missed out on this exciting event!

Horror Movie Binge Fest, October 31, Your Magnolia Villas Seasonal Sanctuary!

As you rush from park to park, soaking in the spooky vibes that feed your soul, you may find that by the time Halloween actually does arrive, you are too tired to go out and do anything more, but that is completely ok! Take this nightmarish night to do what you love most, binge watching horror movies until the sun comes up the next day. Our state-of-the-art televisions offer all the major channels, and if you choose one of our properties with a home theater, it will feel as if you are a part of the action. Reserve your favorite Halloween hideaway today!

Every season is the perfect season to visit Orlando, but we have to admit to holding a special place in our hearts for fall. This is when the heat dies down, (just a bit) the magazine ads start selling the corduroys and sweaters we will probably never use, and just as in the cooler states, pumpkin spice makes it debut! Yes, we still spend Saturdays lounging by our pools and the clothes we wear do not change, but the vibe of Florida never really changes. If your Florida journey brings you to our town and a stay in one of our Magnolia Villas seasonal sanctuaries, this guide to the fun things to do in the fall will add a touch of pumpkin spice to your Orlando getaway!

Epcot Food and Wine Festival, July 15 – November 20

In a time when more festivals and events are still being cancelled than not, leave it to Disney to find ways to keep the fun alive and stay safe while doing so! The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is a summer and fall event, lasting until right before Thanksgiving, making it the perfect kick off to our fun fall activities! Sip and dine your way across six continents, and as you eat, enjoy the music from the different nations. Also offering merchandise to bring home that represents the countries, a visit to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival should be number one on your list!

Pick a Peck of Pumpkins, Mick Farms, 4261 Canoe Creek Road in Saint Cloud

Mick Farms is an actual working farm located in the town of St. Cloud, just about a half hour’s drive outside of Orlando. Offering a farm stand that sells delicious produce year-round, in mid-October they open their fields to the public, allowing guests to actually pick their favorite pumpkins right off the vine! Estimated pumpkin opening day this year is October 12, giving you and your family an authentic farm experience. Mark it on your calendars, wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, your most comfortable walking shoes, and prepare for a day to remember!

Cow’s and Cabs Fundraising Event in Winter Park, November 13, 2021

This worthy event lasts only one night, but it offers tastings of meals prepared by 25 Orlando gourmet restaurants, with the proceeds going to benefit children’s charities in Central Florida. Also offering sips of over 200 wines, beers, and hand-crafted cocktails, this night of denim, cowboy boots, and awesome food and drinks is guaranteed to be a special evening you will wish goes on forever! Enjoy cigars that are included in the price of your ticket, (a separate cigar tent ensures that non-smokers will not have to endure the scent) complimentary valet parking when you purchase General Admission tickets, and with VIP tickets, private baths, separate seating areas, and specialty food are also included along with all of the above.

Hike in the Split Oak Forest

Named for a giant oak tree that survived a lightning strike that split it in half, the Split Oak Forest Wildlife and Environmental Area offers a breathtaking look at the natural beauty of the Florida landscape. Enjoy cooler temperatures as you hike along the 9+ miles of trails and paths that take you close to the wildlife, and as you spot beautiful flowers and the ethereal butterflies flitting from bloom to bloom, take a few minutes to just breathe. Your real life is so hectic, these quiet moments are bound to be memorable!

Orlando Brewing, 1301 Atlanta Avenue

Every season is the right season for a craft beer, and Orlando Brewing might just have a pumpkin porter that you will fall in love with! Also featuring their version of Oktoberfest, held September 18th, the event will be held outside to help guests celebrate safely as they eat German food, listen to live music, play games, and, of course, drink plenty of ice-cold German beer! Orlando Brewing always has an event going on, no matter what time of year you choose to visit, so if you miss out on Oktoberfest, purchase a couple of tasting tours and sip your way through the delicious maze of specialty brews.

Not all vacations are created equal, as you fulfill different needs in different cities. Perhaps you need a break from everything, and you are choosing a quiet country getaway, far away from the hustle and bustle in the world, or maybe you crave the buzz of the frenetic atmosphere of a big city. Maybe you are interested in doing it all: spending time with the kids at the amusement park, relaxing and finding peace by a private pool, and getting out to enjoy all the exciting adventures your vacation destination has to offer. When you want to have the option to do just about anything, Orlando is the place to be! As you live it up from the comfort of our Magnolia Villas sanctuaries, this guide to the top tours you can experience in our favorite place on earth will ensure that you get the opportunity to do it all.

Ghost Tours of Orlando

Why not get your blood flowing right from the start with a chilling ghost tour offered by Orlando Haunts! We are not alone in the world, and the wonderful guides know the tragic underbelly of Orlando; they will take you to where the spirit world and our world collide! Learn the terrifying tales of pirate’s pillaging gone bad, the woeful stories of love gone wrong, and the truly sad narrative of those who lived alone, died alone, and are now just looking for some company as the centuries slowly pass by.

The Most Delicious Tours of All

Our favorite part of any vacation is getting a chance to taste the flavors of the region, and the best way to do so in Orlando is with a food tour offered by Wandering Palms! Savor your way through the Milk District neighborhood with a variety of tours, including the Neighborhood Eats tour, which will take guests to five local restaurants, and the Almond Milk District Vegan Tour that also visits five restaurants but is focused on the plant-based meals that are so yummy in this region. Finally, they also offer the Foodtography Mills 50; perfect for all you budding influencers who love posting all the pics of all the foods you have enjoyed over the years, this tour visits four different restaurants but includes tips and hints on how to take the best pictures of your meals! Book your most delicious tour here.

Make Up Your Own Tour

After all that food, you are probably feeling a little thirsty, so why not make up your own tour of the Orlando wine bars and sip your way fantastic through the night? Ride share services make this tour safe for all involved as you sip in and out of Wine Bar George, Vine’s Grille and Wine Bar, the Eola Wine Company, and a host of other wine bars in the area! At last count, we noted eight fantastic places to sip and savor, but that number is always changing! Although we cannot say that we have a favorite wine bar, we can tell you there is a soft spot in our hearts for the Wine Room on Park Avenue, located in nearby Winter Park, and offering over 150 handpicked wines for you to try. We do not recommend trying all 150 in one night, however, and if your goal is to try them all out, we suggest making more than a few trips!

The Bird’s Eye View Tour

Orlando is a beautiful city, but its size prevents visitors from really being able to enjoy all its charms unless you choose a helicopter tour offered by Air Force Fun! Flying you over all the spots you may want to visit personally, later on, the tour times range from a quick 4- to 5-minute tour that takes you over Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay to the monster flight tour that lasts 20 to 25 minutes! Otherwise known as tour number 6, this flight will give you a bird’ eye view of the best of Orlando, including SeaWorld, Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports, and Gatorland!

From the Sky to the Sea

Well, not exactly the sea, as Orlando is about an hour’s drive away from the beach, but the kayak tours offered by Get Up and Go Kayaking in nearby Winter Park. They offer daylight tours of the lakes in clear kayaks that allow you to see all that swims below, and nighttime tours that feature kayaks with color-changing LED lights to add an extra twinkle to your explorations! Also offering sunset tours that will take your breath away (Remember to keep hold of your paddle and don’t let it slip away in the excitement of the moment!), this tour company is one of the best in the region.

Come Home to Magnolia Villas

No matter how you spend your days in our magical city, coming home every evening to the comforts and luxuries found in our Orlando sanctuaries promises to be the best part of your Florida adventure. This vacation is destined to be the one you talk about for years to come, so be sure to reserve your stay with us today!
