Incorporate an Easter Run into Your Orlando Getaway

Taking time out of a busy schedule to enjoy an Easter away in Orlando is always a treat. While you’re sure to have a fun-filled adventure, for many travelers, it’s not exclusively about the egg hunts and candy collection. Instead, it’s about incorporating some heart-pounding exercise into the mix and if this sounds like you, celebrating Easter in Orlando definitely means participating in the Fins Up Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run & Walk on April 16th, 2022. Participating starts at $10 a person for this Margaritaville Resort Orlando hosted event. It’s a fun and healthy way to get everyone in your traveling crew out and about this Easter! This is a race designed to put a spring in everyone’s step and it starts at 8000 Fins Up Circle in Kissimmee at 9:00 am. Registration begins at 8:30 am and participants are more than welcome to run, walk, or hop the route according to preference. If you happen to be one of the top three finishers, a prize is in your future this Easter!

Check Out the Ivanhoe Village Easter Egg Hunt

Those traveling to Orlando this Easter with kids at their side will likely be looking for an Easter egg hunt to top off the fun. That’s where the Ivanhoe Village Easter Egg Hunt comes in! This family-friendly event will be held April 9, 2022, and is hosted by MAM Events in downtown Orlando right in the heart of Ivanhoe Village at Hall on the Yard. Registering your children in advance guarantees that every child on the list will receive a minimum of five eggs during the hunt. They’ll also get a pair of charming bunny ears to wear and the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny himself. Once you register, you’ll receive an event start time that varies by age. At check in, children will receive a wristband to help determine their hunt group. When the egg hunting is done, participants are invited to make their way to the nearby 407 Food Fair where BBQ will be on hand at Ivanhoe Park Brewing between 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm to help curb cravings worked up after all of that searching!

Meet the Easter Bunny at The Mall at Millenia

Orlando’s Mall at Millenia is an impressive shopping stop year-round, but during Easter it’s a hub of holiday fun as it’s the very place the Easter Bunny sets up for photos and meet and greets! The mall is located near SeaWorld and Universal, making it a convenient place to incorporate into an itinerary when you’re excited to get those holiday photos snapped. Get the kid’s dressed up in their Easter best and get ready for a fun meeting with options to purchase a professional photo package if the pictures turn out better than you ever imagined.

Make it an Easter Experience at ICON Park

The Easter Bunny Garden Experience enjoyed at ICON Park is a fantastic way to mix your holiday fun with a stop at one of Orlando’s most iconic destinations while you’re in town. Situated right on International Drive, ICON Park is an oasis of fun filled with museums, delicious eateries, and amusement-style attractions to match. Over Easter, guests can meet the Easter Bunny here and get a photo taken as well. Every child who takes a picture with the Easter Bunny at ICON Park also gets a golden token for a ride on the Icon Park Wheel. This 400-foot Ferris Wheel is one-of-a-kind and provides visitors with exceptional views from above! Other riders can receive 50% off admission to the Wheel when a photo is taken.

Enjoy an Egg Display at Disney

An annual tradition at Easter across the Walt Disney World theme parks is to create displays of spectacularly decorated Easter eggs for guests to admire and enjoy. Chefs from across Disney restaurants participate in creating this eye-catching display, which is both thrilling and edible. In Orlando, displays are typically set up this time of year at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort in the lobby, the Grand Floridian’s lobby and concierge area as well as Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort within the Carriage House. Head over to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort lobby for even more colorful display fun.
