Memorial Day weekend was the jumping-off point, giving folks a peek at what normalcy after COVID can look like, but the consensus here in Orlando is that the 4^th of July is when we really will see the difference! 2020 is a distant nightmare, and as more and more people are vaccinated, it is time to get out there and reclaim your life! Last year at this time we were celebrating quietly at home with our circle of people and boy did we miss out on the fun that we are used to having! This year, 4^th of July falls on a Sunday, giving many of our guests an extra day to play, meaning you don’t have to wake up early the next day and go into work. Why not live it up? Starting with the 4^th of July Celebration in Avalon Park, the options to play are almost limitless! The event is offering two stages on which there will be an ever-revolving cast of characters playing the music sure to make you dance, a bike parade filled with bikes decorated in our favorite shades of red, white, and blue, and ending with a fireworks show guaranteed to make you ooh and ahh out loud! Just when you think it can’t get any more patriotic, an apple pie bake-off shows you how wrong you can be!

When One Day of Celebrations Is Not Enough!

On a long weekend, you really don’t want to leave all the fun until the last day. Luckily, the Star-Spangled Weekend Celebration in Kissimmee takes place on Saturday AND Sunday! Held at 3251 Margaritaville Boulevard, the fun starts at 11 AM each day (ending at 11 PM) and offers live music, live entertainment, and food and drink. On Sunday, a fireworks show that will fill the sky with the most glittering of explosions will begin at 9:30 PM. Spend the weekend dancing, laughing and enjoying the feeling of getting out there with people once again and when it is time to head home for the night, we can promise that you will get the best night’s sleep of your life in our super soft beds!

We Are So Excited

4^th of July without fireworks was a dreary celebration indeed, no matter how many of our neighbors got out took to the streets with their own fireworks displays, but 2021 is the year of new beginnings and MULTIPLE fireworks shows! The next one on our list, Fireworks at the Fountain, is held at Lake Eola Park and offers double the fun as the colors in the sky are reflected in the placid waters of Lake Eola. The celebration starts at 4 PM and include a kids’ zone, live music, and of course food and beverage trucks that allow guests to sip and savor the day away! Fireworks start at 9 PM, so be sure to stake out a spot close to the lake in order to experience the explosions in the sky AND their reflections in the water!

Muscle Cars and Big Booms

It is back to Kissimmee we go, to the Old Town section, this time, for a wonderful celebration that will make the car lover in your traveling party feel extra giddy! Featuring live music, tasty food and drinks, and a car show filled with your favorite muscle cars from the 60s through today, the fireworks being held at the end of the show with take your breath away.
